I did pick. I decided to retire my daily driver, a '87 turbo-t with about 115 K miles on it, and I found a 8K mile garage queen that is so clean, I don't have the heart to make a daily driver out of it.
Where did I go wrong?
Now I am stuce with a garage queen '02 quicksilver Z06, about 14 months old with about 2 K miles on it, a garage queen showroom condition '87 turbo-t about a month old with about 9 K miles on it, bought to replace the other one but so clean I hate to do it, and a '98 CBR1100XX bought about 2 years ago with 1 K miles on it, and 1.1 K miles on it now, so I am still stuck with a daily driver with 115 K miles on it.
I guess I will flog the 115K miler so more as a daily driver, drive the '87 9 K miler one day a week, and drive the Z06 one day a week, and just get out the bike and wax it when I get bored. FWIW, this is my 5th '86-'87 GN/T-Type/Turbo-t, with the first 4 being consecutive. Somehow the vette snuck in there.
Evidently I slept through car replacement/daily driver 101 and 102 both. Buick '86-'87 hardtop turbo cars don't have a place in my heart, they own it lock, stock, & barrel.
