How many ignition modules will AZ swap before they just agree to refund my money?

I had issues with a part from them , don't remember what it was, after several swaps they offered me a refund. I was very surprised. It was for my truck. May have been a MAF

You can choose a refund of your money instead of a replacement part that is covered with a lifetime warranty with them and other businesses as well.

I've taken parts back to Autozone after having them on my car for years and they refunded my money, the total amount i paid for them. They didn't prorate any of them. You just have to insist on the refund. Some of the sales people and the managers don't like to do a refund but will if you insist on it,tell them you do not want to try another replacement part. They will give you your money back.

Just went thru that w/ Advance. After 2 modules, I got a refund.

Did about 7 or 8. Kept returning to different locations

Got my money back today. The girl was overwhelmed with customers so it was just easier to do it my way.

There you go, glad they decided to see it your way and give you the refund.

I've never had them refuse me a refund when i asked them for one. Even on parts they tested when i brought them in and they said were good. I think they like me.:)

I've had horrible results with O'Reilly Auto Parts in instances like this.

AutoZone is almost always cool with returns.

Ordered a new ac/delco D1996 module from Rock Auto today. I think I can swap it for a new one or money back within 30 days if defective.

What I'm saying is what good is a 30 day warranty now when the car won't really be driven in this weather. So when may rolls around and it's found to be defective.......too late been 4 months. Make sense now?

No, it doesn't.

Sorry, but if you're going to buy parts that won't be used for future months/years on end, don't look for warranty to be honored when your old shit somehow doesn't work.

How do you not get that?

If you get that big of a problem at any store like that, ask for the district managers number.. they don't want them getting involved with customer complaints !
