Aux box for LM1 users.....

Hey guys.... thinking of buying an aux box for the LM1 I am using. Where did you guys (that have one) mount it? It has the capability to measure acceleration... so I assume it needs to be mounted in a good spot to have any chance of being usable for this..... or is it just a gimmic. I really don't care one way or another... I just want to look at the data from boost vs RPM vs TPS vs EGT vs ??

It appears to be a very valueable add-on for the LM-1.

I have the AuxBox too..Mine is mounted on the firewall(for now) behind the glove box..I didnt set it up to measure acceleration. Seemed to be too picky as to how it had to be set in there ! Excellent tool indeed ! I have DS to go with the logs that the LM1 creates..Tons of info, now if I only knew what to do with it all... :biggrin:

The aux box is awesome tool and acceleration is a great thing to monitor to gauge improvments.

What do you aux box users datalog?

Of you aux box users...... what are you logging? I really want to log everything I can......

I would like to log:

1.) AFR
2.) TPS
3.) RPM
4.) EGT
5.) Boost Pressure
6.) MAF Data
7.) IAT

If I understand this tool properly.... I should be able to log all this simultaneously?

AFR is already in the LM1, Boost is already in the LM3, the other 5 should have enough ports.... I hope.....

This is going to be cool.

MAF data will be a problem since it is frequency not voltage. IAT data will come over as voltage and you will have to convert it to temp. The maf thing may be able to get worked out though
