Back button operation??

This is really wierd!!!!!
When I'm in any of my automotive related forums, I can start at the index, jump one level into any forum, and I can click the back button and get back to the index.
Now, when I go into the forum list and pick a form and then select a particular thread. I can't back out of that thread using the back button. It just ignores me.
Same on any of the boards I visit.

Doesn't seem to be an issue on any of my online banking sites or other non forum related sites.

This is a real head scratcher!!

Forgot to mention, this is with IE9, and WIN7 home premium.

I had the same problem, Dave. Switched to Google Chrome as my browser and no issues!!!

Same issues here also, sometimes refreshing the page helps.

I used the tab function and open each section/post on a seperate tab. No more back button.

IE7&8 as well as foxfire have it. Hover over the link and push down on the roller (center button) on the mouse and a new "tab" should pop up.

I think you'll like how it works Dave. Saves a ton of time when reading the forums. Click on each individual section you want to read and then click on each thread. You end up with as many as 4 tabes but it lets you read with out loosing your place.

All of a sudden my back button has started working normally ?????????
