I have been reconnecting my 85 with 87 Ecu the vacuum hoses to the factory specs.
The car ran fine but the exhaust smelled rich.
I found my Blm’s stay at 160.
I started to adjust the TPS and IAC to drop the numbers.
I turned the IAC several turns in or out and adjusted the TPS to try to balance the Blm’s.
I found if I run the idle up tp 1100 the blm’s drop to about 138.
I took it for a test drive for the first time the knock sensor light cam on and I heard two pops under WOT. But the car ran like hell am I on the right track, I triple checked all the vacuume connections. The way I bought the car the Fuel pressure Regulator was in connected to the Turbo Boost outlet, not the main Vacuum source as shown on my sticker.
How do I base line the TPS and IAC Screw it all the way down and back it off 1 ½ the same with the TPS how do I base line this. It seems these two sensors are changing the way the car runs. Any help would be much appreciated.
