Thanks Ken! I had a great time. But the T is going to a new home & a nice person from San Diego. Wells beat me up so bad by stealing the show I sold the car LOL .But I will recover & move on to build another. Meanwhile I'm trying to keep my now little business alive & continue to support all my customer/freinds. I'm at a good point in my life right now & doing what I love. His white 87 Turbo T just looks better each year.
Rod's GNX won (again). His GNX was the only one in the show (again). Still, it's a GN friggin' X!!
Someone (and I didn't catch his name) brought a beautifully-built GN down from LA. Had all the go-fast goodies in all the right places. He didn't enter the show, otherwise I'm sure he'd have won something.
Lou Czarnota won an award for a gorgeous T he built. He always brings nice examples of his work down.
And for like the 7th year in a row I was skunked in the raffle.

The sale of my car is on hold. Yesterday I noticed an unusual ticking sound develop & traced it to a wiped out thrust main.I suspect the new lock up convertor I recently installed may of put pressure against the crank causeing it. I could of band aided it but would rather lose the sale then screw some unsuspecting buyer. No big deal. I have spares & already have it out.I have owned many corvettes & think they are great cars. Presently my 03 sits in the garage as an ornament while I play with my Regal.I also rather hang with the adolescent down to earth Buick crowd which I seem to have more in common with. Besides that a 19 year old TR with a little work can still kick the s--t out of them at the drags.Wells said:-------------------------------
Hey, I resemble that remark. Oops, I mean that I resent that remark. J/K, Lou. Coming from you, I take that as a real compliment, even though I know it to not be true. You're a fighter, and you will be back with another I am sure. Unless, of course, you are switching over to the Corvette show crowd & going to start buying all corvette clothing & jewelry.
And thanks for the props, Ken, it was good to see you again.
