Who's car was this. (can't remember your name) We talked about the rims and we were interested in the backspacing etc...

Someone has gotta post some pics so the other members of turbo buick can see what they missed if they wernt able to make the show, and thanks again lou for the last minute cold air kit im sure thats what gave me the edge on the competition during the show :D I also had a great tim and look forward for next year...and thanks to all who voted for my car at thae show.Oh,gary I called bonnie and told her about the win and she was pleased to know I was continueing her legacy, she said hi to all...

Hmm, is that as in Bonnie and Clyde or Bonnie and Ron? Lost track of them when they left town or were run out of town (Poway). Utah, Idaho or Mont.
I thought I recognized the gray/silver car and its a winner!: The show is always a welcome event around here, and the people who are responsible for maintaining it, (Steve/Rochelle) have it and keep it together.

oh and this one's for "slow victor"

"Here we see 'Slow Tim' the tuner aka Carrddine (and his tuning entourage) working on 'Slow Victor' aka my1stgn's car. Nothing but slowness can result from this."

[Hold on, let me put my boots on. For some reason there is a lot of siht in here :) ] Yeah Tim thanks for adjusting my TPS for me. Ill probly end up getting those injectors/chip combo pretty soon and Ill give Luis his nickname back.... I know he cant wait for that! :D

Here a little story about a guy named Luis:

Luis meets Victor = :D "Yes! Im not the slow one anymore!"

Victor does some mods and Luis reacts = "I dont get it?"

Victor and Luis meet at the track = "Look at all that chrome"

Luis and Victor race = "Holly Crap! How did he get so fast!"

Victor and Tim leave to go get donnuts after the terrible ass wooping imposed on Luis =

Luis gets no donnuts and his nickname back = "Slow Luis" rides again :frown:

That will teach you louis, you cant pick on all of us..You shouldnt be mean to people its not nice

Victor, you seem to have a lot of free time at work ;)

You and slow TIm must have eaten some bad donuts because you guys are having delusions of speed... Frankly, the only Speed Tim will ever see is starring Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves. As for you, sir, I'll try and be in touch with you soon. I'd like to swing by your shop and have you take a look at my ride (no speed related stuff so I'm safe... )

Oh, and Tim, in response to one of your previous posts... I, sir, AM faster than Motorola.....

I might catch up to you guys one of these days, so don't be getting your napkins in a twist.

I wish I had some time at work! All these damb cars to daignose I have no chance to jump on the net (which I rarely due at work since Im just losing money if I do) Had this damd 2006 C-CLass with a no start condition! Ended up taking me about 2 1/2 hours to fix it! Ended up being the fuel pump but it was throwing codes for crank sensor not sending the correct signal. WAAYYY to much computer stuff on these cars man! Makes diagnosing a little bit harder. The job did end up paying 6.4 Hrs so I still made out big time so thats cool......

But you need to bring your car by the shop some time. Ill be working on my wives car this weekend so if you want to swing by feel free!..... and Tim, Im gonna need to talk with you about a pool table here shortly! :D

Congratulations to Gary Wells for his "Best in Show" award.

His white 87 Turbo T just looks better each year.

Rod's GNX won (again). His GNX was the only one in the show (again). Still, it's a GN friggin' X!!

Someone (and I didn't catch his name) brought a beautifully-built GN down from LA. Had all the go-fast goodies in all the right places. He didn't enter the show, otherwise I'm sure he'd have won something.

Lou Czarnota won an award for a gorgeous T he built. He always brings nice examples of his work down.

And for like the 7th year in a row I was skunked in the raffle.
Thanks Ken! I had a great time. But the T is going to a new home & a nice person from San Diego. Wells beat me up so bad by stealing the show I sold the car LOL .But I will recover & move on to build another. Meanwhile I'm trying to keep my now little business alive & continue to support all my customer/freinds. I'm at a good point in my life right now & doing what I love. Regards Lou

Hey, I resemble that remark. Oops, I mean that I resent that remark. J/K, Lou. Coming from you, I take that as a real compliment, even though I know it to not be true. You're a fighter, and you will be back with another I am sure. Unless, of course, you are switching over to the Corvette show crowd & going to start buying all corvette clothing & jewelry.
And thanks for the props, Ken, it was good to see you again.

And to black heat, yes my car belonged to bonnie and ron ward at one time and I think they moved to wisconson or somewhere like that.and I dont know if they were in a hurry to get out of state or what but whatever reason they left It sure was good for me  I still stay in contact with them. And let them know how the car is doing...I left them a message on sunday and let them know the car one 1st place again...Im sure they will be happy to know that im taking good care of it and I hope that when I sell it that it will go to someone that will give it a good home..and of course give me what I think its worth...I just havent gotten the right offer yet,and of course the right guy to sell it to...Im sure someone will come along in time....

Ya know whats odd is I havent had too many people ask me if I wanted to sell the car..if someone had their money right and asked I may do it.But what is strange is I have owned other cars not quite as nice and I got more offers with those cars than I have with the turbo T :( And in reguards to bonnie and ron I dont know why they left state but if you know of a reason on why then please let me know...You said it like there was something behind it  I hope nothing bad they seemed like really nice people to me..am I wrong  BTW where are you located black heat....and did I talk to you at the show???

Fwiw;
I have known Ron & Bonnie Ward for several years prior to their leaving and moving, not real closely, but enough to guage their character and I can assure everyone that it was a planned move, and had been something that they were thinking about for quite sometime. There was nothing behind it. They were and are good people and I am sure that there were no ulterior motives behing their moving. They were and are the heart and soul of what makes turbo Buick people tick. God Bless them and i wish them all the happiness where they are at.

The sale of my car is on hold. Yesterday I noticed an unusual ticking sound develop & traced it to a wiped out thrust main.I suspect the new lock up convertor I recently installed may of put pressure against the crank causeing it. I could of band aided it but would rather lose the sale then screw some unsuspecting buyer. No big deal. I have spares & already have it out.I have owned many corvettes & think they are great cars. Presently my 03 sits in the garage as an ornament while I play with my Regal.I also rather hang with the adolescent down to earth Buick crowd which I seem to have more in common with. Besides that a 19 year old TR with a little work can still kick the s--t out of them at the drags.

Somebody has to play sheppard/sheepherder and tend the flock, and that be you, Lou.
