Fellow Turbo Buick owners.

How many of you have a heat shield wrap on your battery. I have been experiencing battery problems and was wondering if it was due to the extra heat generated by the Turbo? It makes sense that the extra heat generated by the turbo (same side of engine bay) would lead to battery degradation...as compared to battery life with other non turbo cars.

Thanks for any insight added.

Absolutely, either use a reflective thermal blanket, or put the battery in the rear compartment like SLP did on the original Firehawks (1992 vintage the only REAL ones)Good luck -Turbota
