will a 15x8 wheel with 4 1/2 backspace work with a 275/60/15? thanks in advance

thats what we ran but with a 3/16 spacer .. we have 1/2 X 3" wheel studs .. a 3.5 backspace and the car has "bronco Billy" written all over it .. I hate when A tire sticks out ok let the fire start

Only if you use a spacer or notch the frame, otherwise it will rub against the frame.

I do have some GN rims widened to 8" with a rear spacing of 3.5" using some 275-60-15 tires without any rubbing issues...but going with a rear spacing of 4.5. will surely make the tire touch the frame.
