I must have terrible search skills because i spent the last 2 hours looking for a thread that asks the opinion of everyone on what o2 sensor to run with race gas. i within the last few weeks, read about it, but today i wasted a heated o2 sensor in the car i just bought and now need to go buy one tomorrow to compliment the used MAF sensor that i bought to replace my bad one. so can anyone tell me what the best O2 sensor for our cars is? Thanks for your help!

I use cheap 1 wire bosh ... when they go out just buy another one from autozone

Install alky injection. Use stock 02 ac delco sensor. Never buy race gas again.:)

What is the part # on the bosch? that seems to be the only stocked O2 sensor here.

I absolutley plan on buying an alky kit but that is not in the budget right now. ive only owned the car for 3 days and just want to run a little race fuel in it so i can play with the car before i have to put it away for winter. the local four wheel drive shop keeps 114 on hand for their race trucks and said they would sell me some.

The denso 234-1001 is the one that lasts longer with leaded fuel.

No one here in my town stocks the Denso and I need to get something to take its place for now until it gets here from fullthrottle speed. I called the local Oreillys and Napa auto parts and they said whats a Denso??? Mountain folk drive trucks, not cars so all the good parts i need are mail order.

Is it normal for the heated O2 sensors to foul out? It seems to be a pretty expensive setup and by the looks of it, its the kit from Kirbans. Is there any way to clean it? Since the description on their website says they will not foul our while running race fuel, is there any kind of a warranty on them if they do?

buy 3 stock AC Delco sensors for $15-ish each, and replace them as req'd.... lead kills ALL o2 sensors, heated, not, bosch, denso, whatever.... not a matter of if... but when... and the heated sensors don't last significantly longer than any others.....

Where in the heck are you buying these for around $15. ???

Thanks for all the info guys! I guess im going to go get an AC Delco or a Bosch for now and continue to buy them until i get my alky kit which will hopefully not be too long!
