Used to think turning the cam sensor a few degrees either increased or decreased base timing for WOT:o

Some like to turn an extra 1/8" when setting it as on occasion it will help with ignition problems. I haven't but some swear by it.

before the internet.....

i took off my tps cleaned it and replaced it.....no multimeter, scan tool, nada

...didn't really care much for a PC, other than to play the Oregon Trail once in awhile.

B4 the internets,
I actually had real friends, and we went out drinking, bowling, karting, stuff like that. Now I have a bunch of people on social networking sites I graduated with or work with that I never really talk to or see anyway.

B4 the internets,
I would scrounge around salvage yards and pick a parts, or go through Jegs, Summit or JCWhitney catalogs. Now, EBAY!!!

B4 the internets,
I played a lot more drums.
I actually worked on cars, instead of talking about working on them.
I could actually change and adjust a points ignition without posting on 5 forums to get opinions.

Before the internet... hmm

I tried propane injection on my turbo buick, and at the time i did not know you should start cranking up the timing. 19° and 25psi it still was rich.

Before the internet, i spent more time working on my car, some was trial and error, mostly error.

Before the internet i used to read books!
