I wiped the bearing in the tensioner pulley, it got cocked made some really horrible noises and did some minor rub damage to the tensioner assembly. First questioner is before it became evidently so bad I found the problem could this cause false knock? I've never gotten knock before, all of a sudden I was experiencing 5.0 degrees of knock. Secondly, has anyone used an after market advance auto plastic pulley? it looks like it won't work with the factory spacer, but if you use a large washer it should fit. I'm ordering an RJC billet pulley I just want something in the meantime to run the car, I also though about just removing the bearing and putting it in the factory pulley... don't know if it will fit... any thoughts?

thanks.... BT :D

NAPA has the bearing alone for about $4.

Part # should be easily found in a search, no need to buy the whole plastic one.

The bearings should be the same, they are in all the ones I've seen both metal and plastic aftermarket.
