Best 1/4 time

I have a stock 84 GN (mostly stock) and the motor was just rebuilt along with the turbo. I want to get the most out of my car so I'm wondering what are some necessary upgrades/mods/tweaks that I should look into if I'm trying to get the best out of my 1/4 time.

get a pcm upgrade to the 86/87 done and get a scan tool!!!
then add adj fp reg, boost guage, TT chip............but start with a scan tool! if you dont know what your engine is doing you will melt stuff ask me i know!

x2 on the scantool......(scanmaster AND Powerlogger IMHO) ....It should be the first (and best) $500 you spend.

Get a wideband before powerlogger.

A knock gauge or audible knock detector is a good thing to have including the above mentioned
