Best Down pipe?

Who makes the best 3 inch down pipe.I see a number of vendors sell them,any difference for fit and finish?Thanks in advance.

If you can find an ATR, Terry Houston they are great. Next RJC and then I think the T/A stuff just released is really nice stuff. I've had my ATR for 5 years and love it.

I never had an issue with my 3" Terry Houston, sold it & found a 3.5" Terry Houston, it fits perfect, there's a reason they are worth so much $, even used. If you must buy new, I'd go with RJC.

Kevin, I had Brian Cotton fabricate a stainless steel 4" downpipe for my GN which clears the a/c and it fits perfectly without rubbing anywhere. I guess it would be pretty simple for him to make you a 3" !...Give him a call at (413) 789-0531.

ta performance. they have a bung for a wideband and the wastegate arm is flawless

I run an SE Turbo one. You can get them to weld in the wideband bung for you and it comes with an exhaust cutout. I haven't heard anything bad about any of the vendors downpipes. I think it's a cost and vendor preference thing. The guys at SE Turbo have always been great plus their prices are reasonable.

The only internal waste gates I can find are RJC and T/A.All the others F/T,G body etc are external wastegate.I want the internal design.I am leaning towards the RJC.Any other vendors I have misses?Thanks

Kevin ours are integrated waste gates. Pics are pretty old on the site. We have made changes over the years.Thicker RJC flanges & offer over size pucks now. We also stock T/a's 3.5 down pipes. We no longer carry 3.5's except for T/a's. I have to make some time to update the site.

I love my T/A down pipe. I never planned on going WB, but with that bung already there it made it alot easier when everyone on here talked me into it.

I just put a 3" RJC in my T, dropped right in. It seems to be straighter from the bend to the test pipe than the THDP and ATR external I've had, but with a very nice bend off the turbo. The large puck is nice for ported wastegate holes.

The TA pipe is very, very nice. It drops right in, doesnt hit anything; and your turbo shield will fit without being cut. I like my THDP but may switch when I have the engine out if I have the cash.
