It depends on what you do for a living. I'm in construction and can't sit idle and watch others do it wrong so I am rough on whatever I wear. I haven't tried any of the brands you mentioned but, I can tell you a TAG cannot handle abuse. I have a beefy (looking) $2k stainless TAG that constantly broke pins, the band and finally the mechanism to the point I had to give up wearing it. I'm currently wearing a $400 titanium Wenger that I've beat the **** out of for 3 years and hasn't broke once. I want a Submariner and have heard good things about Tissot. The Tissot T-touch are pretty neat. The ultimate would be a Rolex Daytona.

Citizen Eco-drive for everyday, and a Rolex Datejust for well my wife bought it for me;)

One of my vacation buddies has macho deniro......
And I think it is funny because every time me go to Mexico he buys 3 or4 (Rolflex).. Knock offs. Some are almost impossible to tell apart from the real thing. And he can buy the real ones.

a mans watch, no sissy stuff hear

i havent owned a watch since 2002, no need for it having a cell phone
Me either. In fact, I have never worn a watch. Cell phone is with me always so yes it has clock so no need other then fashion. I do like that Titanic one tho and would wear that.

Seiko Arctura Kinetic

I am in the construction field as well, I have beat the crap out of this watch for 6 years at work, still looks decent although it is heavily scratched. My buddies dad is a jeweler and I got quite the discount on it too.

I only have Gucci watches ... never failed me and I have hit them HARD expecting damage , and nothing ever shows ---

My 1962 version of the Seiko Goldfeather has kept on tiking for almost 50 yrs.. Don't wear it much any more, as I spend most of my time in the shop, with nasty work.
I think I paid about $20/7500 yen, for it, in Tokyo.
At the time I bought it, it was advertized as the worlds thinnest watch...
