Looking to see what people are running there BFG's at for good traction. Currently mine are at 26 or so and it isn't hooking like i want it too. 275/60/15's on weld 15X8's

I know i use to run my old nitto's on my TA like 10 or less to get them to hook well, is this the case for the bfg's as well??

Thanks!

while the BFG Drag Radials were set at 20 psi (factory-recommended Drag Radial psi settings should be between 18 to 22 psi).

Track prep and tire cleanliness are much more important that tire pressure. I've cut a 1.65 with 24 psi in the tires on a prepped track.

18 psi is a good starting point. If the tires aren't hooking at 18 psi, lowering them won't make them hook all that much better. You'll get some traction from the deflated basketball effect, but it will hurt you on the top end.

Stay away From dirt, dust, crushed rock, gravel and grass after your first burnout of the night. The Burnout out "opens the tires pores", the above trash will clog them and kill traction.
