Good God that is a DREAM!!!!!!!!! In my book I would love to have a TR yet a GNX in that shape and off the show room floor. You gotta love and appreciate all of the protective covering plastic still on the car. That is a TRUE collecters car!

This may be a stupid question but why is the GNX with 45 miles on it have orange stripes on his dash:(

Its a protective suran wrap type to keep the plastic from scratching from the factory. It peals off. Its like that protective covering on cell phone screans and stuff.

I knew GNX prices would go up....but WOW, these cars are really getting up there in value.

I drove my GNX last week, but prices like that make me want to park it and buy a regular GN to toy with.

If these cars are worth that now...What will they be worth at the 20-25 year mark?

Low Low mile GNX's and low production number GNX's bring all the money esp. when it's 100% original. Repaint, different parts, higher miles, and mods. drop them down much more. The true collectors who buy them know what they are looking for. A GNX with low low miles and low production number are a major prise for the guys who can afford them. I know soimeone who is looking for one and will pay the money as long as it's all original. I showed him a few others with as little as 20K plus miles and he didn't even want to know how much it was going for. Those rich guys are a bread of their own! But I like to admire their cars! :)

GNX #005 sold last year for $42K....that guy bought it put 450 miles on it and is now selling it for $48K
i tried to talk my dad into buying it @ $42K
the guy who had it was the largest Buick dealer in America so thats how he had #005..Buick owns #001 & #002..some GM execs own #003, #004

FWIW & IMHO:
The one with the most miles on it is baxically a bargin compared to the other one. The motor compartment on the one with the most miles appears to be considerably cleaner. Also, the one with the most miles would seem to be not so much of a risk regarding dry rot, overall cleanliness, and generally functioning of everything. When these cars sit for long periods of time without attention they don't seem to like it. Paint goes to hell, all of the rubber seals can develop problems such as leaks.
Seems to me those prices should be reversed. Just my $.02 worth. The low mileage one seems to already have that problem on the bracket that holds the power steering resevoir, although that might be surface rust/corrosion only. You can see that the one with the most miles was not neglected. The other one, well...............
