I put walnut shells in my new cabinet. It appears that was a mistake. They are not flowing very well. Plenty of air, biggest tip. I started to read the box after the fact and they are 12 grit. I have some sand that I use in a hand held blaster and it says 80 grit. So I am guessing they are too big. I am looking for a media that will not imbed in the parts. Any thoughts?

Sure it's dry? I've run walnut through my cabinet OK, I don't recall the "grit" but it was like flour... I use glass beads for everything now and just clean the he%^ out of it.

Yup its dry, it is definitely not like flower. I got the wrong stuff:) That's what I get for going to harbor freight.

What exactly are you trying to blast? The stuff I got from harbor freight was about 40 grit and I use it in my brass tumbler. If removing rust I like scatblast which isn't cheap but will remove just about anything including you skin if the gloves fail.
