hello; Going to work early this morning and got a flat in my van on Storrow Drive. Right rear. I heard sounds like a plastic bag wipping in the air and then the tire gave out. The tires trashed, the rusted donut was almost flat, and I couldn't find any air to fill it. Found some air that was on at a closed station. That never happens around my way. Most places you have to pay and they take there hoses in when not open. The donut is an original from 1994 and I didn't trust it traveling highway to get to work. So I blew it off.
Suck way to start the day but that's how it goes. At least it's a beautiful summer like day in Mass.

Know what thats Like...

A few months ago, i was coming home on I-5 north of seattle, about 55 miles from my house, and i blew a tire in the fast lane... luckily traffic was moving slowly, and i was able to merge onto the offramp... but what didnt help was that it was the original jack that came with a 1984 mercury, it had never been used, and was encaked with rust, and the car at the time had locking wire wheel covers, and not to mention it was about 90 degrees that and about 120 on the ground that day in gridlock traffic... I had to bust em off with the tire iron, and nobody stopped to help, they only helped by throwing water bottles at me... and i came down with a bad case of heat exhaustion that still bothers me to this day... luckily a DOT truck with a decent man with a decent jack helped me out as i was fading in and out of consciousness on the hot blacktop...

oh boy... a good jack and spare really helps, and No hupcaps... steelies all the way!

LOL, i may have a picture on my computer of me dying..

My Dad and I must have blown two tires this summer on Sturrow Drive. I think the rich people in the brown stones plant nails on the street to occupy their time..

Did this on the way home the other night. I stretched them as far as that one would go.

hello; Nice job TexasT mine wasn't that bad it looked like it was sliced in three areas measuring the width of the sidewall. They where large. The ture guy says it was from me drivng on a flat but it wasn't that long. As long as your OK a tire is no big deal just a pain.
