Blew s head gasket

Blew my driver side head gasket is it ok to replace 1 or do both and whats a good brand for gasket and and the proper way to install including tourq down pattern

Truthfully if you are going through all that work with the intake off ect. You might as well do both . Also if u r going with cometics you have to make sure the surface is 100% clean chase the threads with a tap and get the right sealer for the bolts/studs . That's just my opinion good luck
