BLM blues

BLMs pegged at 150.

I blew on the check valves and a very small amount of air leaked by both of em making a high pitched whistle. This isn't normal, right?

I also blew on the EGR and it held.

Do a search under high blm's.. see what you find.. be amazed

Your check valve question.. air goes only in one direction, not both. If it goes in both, it is no longer a check valve.

Which vendors sell check valves, all I see so far is gmpartsdirect. Any others?

Your local GM dealer can get them for a few bucks each. Not worth the hassle over a 5 dollar part.
