I have a slight problem with my speed selection on my blower, it will work on all speeds except high. when I turn it to high, it shuts off. not a big deal but kind of annoying.

Has this ever happened to anybody else?

Thanks

This seems to be a common problem on these cars for some reason. I've talked to a few others with the same thing. I also experienced it last year. Look on the passanger side next to the motor along the fender. There should be a small black connectorbox with about 3 wires into it. it clips in and out. There should be a pinkish wire running in there. that wire gives the full 12 volt juice to the blower motor right from the starter i believe. That connector tends to get hot and it burns out inside. All I did was splice the wires where that connector joins, and put new individual connectors on. That usually fixes the problem. If that connector is fine, then a fusale link probably blew and that will have to be replaced. Be in mind, I believe that wire runs off the starter, so its not the greatest thing to change

Thank you for your reply, it was that connector. It just happened to come apart, I plugged it in and BINGO, the motor works fine.

Thank You
