I'm interested in what boost controllers are avail and appx price that have a display reading boost setting level and the turbo hits that exact boost level. For example, I want to be able to adjust boost from 22psi to 23.5 easily, quickly and visible on some type of readout. What's available that you guys like?

Also is MAFTPro quick and easy to adjust boost? Looks like you may have to scroll thru menus to get to where to adjust it.

The old style boost controllers with knobs are simple enough to use but you really don't know what the heck the adjusted boost level will be until you make a few runs and tweak it. I would prefer to just dial in a boost setting and BAM you hit it!!

Even the programable controllers I've messed with you have to navigate to a menu and adjust the actual duty cycle of the boost control selenoid. Even then you don't know the actual increase until you "test" it out. It's not too hard though. MAFTPro isn't a boost controller.

I just installed the AEM Tru Boost gauge and selenoid and I really like the features. I haven't installed my external wastegate yet to give real world results.

Thanks for the input. I like the simplicity of the AEM Tru Boost that you have. Do you think it will fit into the center console dual gauge pod? Does it also display boost while driving in addition to setting boost level?

Even though MAFTPro is not a stand alone dedicated boost controller, my understanding is that it has the capability built-in to control boost settings in addition to the cool tunability features. I'm curious if MAFTPro takes about the same amount of effort to adjust boost as a stand alone electronic boost controller.

The other electronic controllers that look interesting are:

Dan, I am looking at installing a Turbosmart e-boost2 controller- It is a little more complicated than the e-boost, but the cool thing is the 66mm will fit in a 2-5/8" A-pillar pod. It has alot of features, I have downloaded a manual to read (all 41 pages!), and some of it I may never use..but it looks like a great product with lots of options. But it isn't cheap. It does display 'live' boost when you are finished progamming it. I'll let you know when I get it, and you can check it out. FWIW, Dennis is running a Greddy Profec B that he's really happy with...Hope this helps. -Steve

Can you measure how deep the gauge is for me? I'm wondering if the AEM unit with the boost tip might bottom out on the center console forward cubby with my dual pod. It just might fit!

Mine is installed already in the a pillar but I'm pretty sure it will fit.

Where do you guys mount the Greddy Profec B? I prefer a clean installation with minimal wires exposed.

Are you referring to the controller? Mine is mounted above my after market radio, below the HVAC controls in the console. I have just enough room to mount the Greddy and Razor's alky controller side by side above the radio. I plan to get a custom audio shop to trim it out nice (right now it looks like ass).

I'm not familiar with stand alone units, but the pro is quite simple to adjust boost settings.
select boost control in the menu, then psi set point. Others I assume must be simmilar.
