Boost Levels Turbo SBC

what kind of boost levels are you turbo SBC (8.5:1 CR) guys running on pump gas ? Just got my Tial wastegates in and they shipped them with a .70 Bar (10 psi) spring . I maybe mistaken but I'm sure I ordered them with a .40 bar (5.8 psi) spring . thanks

I would say 12-15 psi would be ok on 93 octane with around 20 degrees of timing.

I have a buddy running 10-12 but on a stock block 96 impala.

Thanks guys . I guess if that's the case I should be ok with the 10 psi spring . I suppose the closer the spring rate setting is to your desired boost pressure, the less work your boost controller has to do.
