It took us a while to locate the proper chips for these bargraph displays, but finally found them. Our service on the units will restore the original condition and calibration of the bargraph displays.
We are now set up to repair and recalibrate the Boost/Tach module on an exchange basis. Now would be a good time to pull it out of your dash and send it to us. We have several in stock for exchange and they come with a 1 year warranty.

It seems there are many of these units now falling out of calibration. We replace the cal chips to correct the problem.

Finally! I can't wait to get it functioning correct to keep it looking stock. Even though the stock boost gauge doesn't read high enough, at least it will look stock. Any possibility of offering recalibtated units to show higher than stock boost combined with an overlay?

I could possibly calibrate the boost for a 3-bar sensor instead of the 2-bar it was originally designed for. However, you'd be chopping up the 'originality' of it, you know, those things come back to haunt you if you keep the car.

I recall maybe 7 or 8 years ago, someone was at the GS Nat's in BG, selling recalibrated tach/boost modules or maybe some sort of kit that has an overlay. Anyone remember? I don't remember who was carrying them, not sure if it was a regular vendor or one of the smaller vendors there.

It's the ICs and not the resistors that go bad?? I would have wasted alot of time i bet =p

I have THREE of these buggers!! LOL

hey, since the cores are $50, can I send you the three I have here in exchange for one working unit? :D Or I could just have some patience and wait to save the money lol .. ;P

Pulling mine right now to send in. How much of the old unit do you need. Seems there's 3 levels (boards) to this unit. Does the wire harness unplug under the dash to allow all of it to come out ?

Yep. And they still repair them. Talked to them a few weeks ago.

Any info on how to remove this thing from the car ? Where is the connector? Cannot reach it or see it from under the dash. Does the cluster have to come out ? Wasn't expecting this to be so difficult to get to.
