BOP Engine Adapter to Chevy Transmission

Any issues with using the TCI trans adapter with my Turbo V-6? I have a rebuilt TH-400 with the SBC bolt pattern that I want to use with recently aquired '79 Turbo-V-6. Can I use the same torque convertor and flex plate?

get the extra long dowel pins.

I had been chasing a vibration in mine for years that was destroying converters. the answer was improper locating because I used the stock bellhousing dowels.

Also get the torque converter spacer washers as well.

probably easier to have the guts of the rebuilt swaped into a bop case.

that can be a problem though if you like the gearing of say a 700R4, as there are no BOP cases available.

He was talking about a chevy 400 trans,the cases would be the same just different bell housings.BOP 400s should be easy to find in the junkyard.I know we have a few cores at my work.
