bov not blowing off!!

just installed my bov, took it for a run the first time it blew off at 12psi and wouldnt let boost go above that, then i tighten it and hit 18 psi and evreything was fine but when i let off the gas the was no sign of the bov doing its job, i still heard compressor slamming, i have the line hooked uped to the fourth line on the vaccum block along with my boost gauge, anyhelp would be great, by the way its a greddy unit. thank you

what greddy is it? the type R ? or the s? or the RS ?

Are you using a boost reference line going from the BOV to a strong vacume source? Or are you just running off spring tension?? The line going to the BOV needs to have a fast flow.

its "sharing" a line with my boost gauge, ill hook it up to the spoit under the tb and report any changes, also what are some good spots to hook it up to?
