They got screwed out of $50,000 in an investment scam. Cheryl DAgata was on FOX 5 last night being interviewed. What comes around goes around.

Can someone explain what happened to them in the first place?

Sure-
Cliff notes

Money first.
Parts later.
Money first.
Parts later x 2
Parts will be on the way, then delay parts and collect more money, never deliver parts.
Eventually using money coming in to pay off money going out, if nothing in the middle, why do business?

Sad to see ATR go, BGC, CAS, 0-60, and a few others gone,... guess its inevitable.

Does this mean BGC isn't never going to send me my turbo  .. I have been waiting 13 yrs.. Ok now my patience is starting to run thin. The last 12 yrs I have figured they just been real busy, but in the last yr. im getting pissed. Now This... :D :D :D :D

Well, I guess I was lucky. I got my turbo from BGC. Only took 4 months too!

Karma is a b!tch

I remember many years back they tried to stick it to my dad with a radiator that got all banged up in the mail because they didn't pack it right... My dad told them about it and they said "You can use it, a few little dents won't hurt" Luckily after going round and round with them he was able to get his money back after he sent the radiator back to them... After that never again!

They probably scammed the $50k from someone else first.
Payback is a biatch.

A small portion of that $50k was mine.....

The biggest problem was 'accidentally' hitting your credit card multiple times for the same part. Then they graduated to simply stealing your number and using it to pay their utility bills.

Hahahahaha! :D Luckily I quit doing business with them after I received a MAF pipe that looked like it had been in a cage with gorillas and a vice. Vice teeth marks all over it, looked like they made it with a hammer and vice.
When I inquired, their response was, "You should have purchased the polished one and the teeth marks would not have been on it"... what a joke, I just phone my CC and disputed the charge and tossed the pipe in the trash, was not even going to waste my money on mailing it back and had the CC company change my number after filing the dispute. They never responded to the CC dispute so I got my $$ back.

This is so sad to hear, that I forgot to feel bad. Hope they got it good. I hate businesses w/ no morals.

I am the original owner of Bowling Green Customs. I started the business in 1987 and sold it to John in 1992. Unfortunately John never paid me the last $55,000 he owed me. I'm glad somebody got some of my money from them. I have started making some of my previous products like the trunk kits and console cushions again in limited quanities.

I still have my pimptastic fiberoptic power 6 hat :D

I remember those hats, I've still got one left for myself. I did put a couple trunk kits and console cushions on Ebay, but I don't want to work 16 hours a day anymore.

About time some goods news came up...

 I wished they would've lost $100,000 or $250,000 or even more. They derserved it...
