I am not bringing the car down the BG this year as it does not meet the BG TSO rules, but we will be there spectating and supporting the event anyhow.

I just started going in 2006. Just went as a spectator, then brought the car in 2007. It is a blast and we will be there every year if possible from here on out. If you are going I would reserve a room for peace of mind but I have heard it is not too hard to find a room. There are a lot of hotels. I just filled out my registration form and with the registration fee, tickets for my wife, racing all 5 days it is $253. That is pretty cheap for a week of entertainment if you ask me. There is also an amusement park on the grounds. We take our son on friday for a few hours. They are only open on weekends that early in the year.

There's tons on Scottsdale Rd.
Motel6, Fairfield, Holiday inn, Econolodge, ..there's a hotel about every 1/2 block for a mile or two.

If your not a member and you plan to take a car down the track its going to cost $$$.00 to get in the gate. Even though its one of the best Buick events to go to. We try to go to every Buick event possible anyway, that one just seems tobe the largest one of the year.

The best part of the BG event is meeting up with friends that live half way across the US and knowing they will be there every year.

Its great meeting up with old friends and gaining new ones, it really is nice to be there every year.

Stay up late drinking beer, get up early for breakfast:biggrin:

Its a great time to sit back, enjoy some racing and have a great time with your friends.

John and his family were there last year and we had a real good time, i hope we all can meet up at our tents again and enjoy some ribbbbbs.

Man what a good time we had, the weather was perfect too!
