Hot, Hot, Hot! Strong car count especially for a Friday. 2 brief periods of rain, today looks good for the car show and racing under the lights! Ts, T Types, Limiteds from all over: Ohio, Michigan, PA, NY/NJ, Indiana, down south and out west as well; ditto for TTAs coming in from Idaho, Florida, and Alberta Canada. If you are in Ohio lets get to it and stop by. We even have a guy who flew in to Oklahoma City, bought a GN and driving it to this event on his way home to Wash DC. Nuff said for now!!:biggrin:

Top 2 in tsm: jw is #1 with a 9.4x, Tim LeMay with a 9.6...that may not be 100#%
Top 2 in ths: I went 10.5 dday a 10.6. I cut a brand new slick in the burnout box 1st pass. Not good on a shoe string budget. Jegs is 20 minutes so I picked that up along with a new -10 feed line that was leaking. My cbus bad luck continues lol

The heat was brutal yesterday. Sorry I don't have tso's results.

I heard TSM and TSO only had a combined count of 5 cars. Down over 50% from the year before.


A third TSO car didn't make tech and was sent home, thankfully he got some beer and a T-shirt for his efforts... Might be more than the winner of the class got??


Not sure this is 100% accurate, as I heard it second hand.

TSM Final pitted J. W. Against the banana. Both Jason and Tim rolled into the beams, with J W staging first. Both came up on the two step and as the lights came down, a malfunction on Tim's t-brake caused him to roll forward out of the beams tripping the red bulb.
What was odd was it looked as if they stopped the clocks as an 8.20 flashed in Jasons lane...not sure what happened there.

THS had Kevin Bulger lining up against John Schnieder (sp)...at least that's who I think it was...someone can confirm. Both left the line hard and it was neck and back down the track until a large " boom" was heard and flames came shooting out from under johns car! John end up tripping the beams first despite the mishap.

Kevin will have to confirm the times....10.2x to 10.30. It was close!!!!

John got me by .03 seconds. Awesome race! I had him at the 1000' but ran out of hp.
