Does the brake pedal have to be change from power master to vacuum?

Am going to call the parts store for vac brakes I was told to get a set up for an 87 monte carlo v6 is that correct

yes, pedal needs changing

find one at junk yard, it will line up the push rod/ hookup.
hint, remove drivers seat, makes under dash work alot easier.

All G-body vacuum setups are the same.

It does have to be changed, if you don't feel like doing any drilling. I used my powermaster brake pedal, I just marked it where it had to be drilled and all is good.
