Buying a 87 GN here in a few days and hope to meet some local people who are into cars and other things. I came from Alaska where i owned the sportbikes website www.aksportbikes.com . He said it is a east coast car and that the exhaust is rusted and the break area is rusted also. This brings up a concern o me because i dont want to buy a problem, I can have it checked out but not sure what that will do for me i mean from what i understand once it starts rusting it does not stop.

I wouldn't buy a rusty East Coast guy myself. Plenty of nice, clean West Coast and Southern GN's around.

Keep looking, but be patient and you'll get a fine one
