I hope he is truly READY to come back, I mean, did you see that last Frank Mir fight? Wow, I am not a Mir fan but he performed very well!
 
Mir packed on 20lbs of muscle for his last fight. And he HATES:mad: Lesnar.

I want to see Mir vs. Carwin in March.

Doesn't most everyone hate Lesner? HAha, oh well. I am pretty excited about the carwin fight and contrary to my girlfriends belief, its not just because we watch it at Hooters:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
 
Mir has no chance. Once Brock gets on top of him, its game over.

Short of someone catching Brock with a shot standing up, I dont see anyone getting out from underneath him once he gets top control and that includes Fedor.

I don't really agree with the Fedor thing. I agree that Brock is a master of smothering people but Fedor? He fought that 7footer and he was on the bottom there and made it out. Fedor is an all around fighter that has trained for years and years, and thats all he has done. I would have him for that fight for sure. I doubt it will ever happen tho:cool: We cant really get that lucky. I agree about his ground game or whatever he calls it. He was a wrestler in junior college but we haven't seen that much of it yet, just speed and smothering.

He hasnt fought anyone Brock's size with a base like Brock's. Randleman and Coleman both have made LHW so if they can cut down that much size they probably are 60#s smaller than Brock and Id wager not near as strong.

Coleman and Randleman both took Fedor down with relative ease. Randleman pretty much suplexed him right through the canvas. Yes, he arm barred both of them but I dont think he could do it to Brock.

Since Fedor is content to sit over in the minor leagues and beat up has beens and never was's, we'll probably never know. Its a shame but at this point, he is more interested in protecting his legacy than fighting top guys.

I can agree with the fact that he isn't proving himself right now. The best are obviously in the UFC and he has dodged them. I think he needs to step up and answer these questions now.
 
Maybe it's just me but Fedor looked sorta....well... slow on his feet in his last fight. JMO.
 
Mir will kick his ass all over the ring this time period! I look foward to that.
 
brock was 30-50lbs. heavier, it's tough to fight someone that size, i think this time around brock is gonna get his ass kick, mir is or will be ready this time, i think.........
 
Brock is a heavy wrestler. Mir is an experienced and skilled MMA fighter with MMA ring time. Without turning it into a wrestling match Brock will simply get his ass kicked like he did the first time he faught.

Great MMA fighters are versatle and exploit a fighters weakness. Brock has one skill. Wrestling! Without it he is just another big chump in the ring. Nothing else. Mir will simply work on his take down defense and kick the chit out of him.

Brock is one dimensional. MMA fighting is about boxing, grapling, wrestling, etc.... If ur only bringing one skill into the ring then ur gonna loose once other fighters figure out what that ONE skill is.

Which is exactly why St. Pierre is the best pound for pound fighter in the world along with Silva. Fedor will embarass Brock. I don't even consider that a challenge.

now that I have HD COMCAST on demand I can watch all the old fights right from my rowing machine!
 
Mir bettter finish the fight before it goes to the ground or the same thing will happen as last time. Carwin will be no pushover. That dude has some HEAVY hands, but mir should be able to take him.
 
My favorite part about fighting is that everyone seems to be an expert:biggrin: I side with Brett.

brock's last out burst

one of the funniest thing i saw was him come out like a whooped pup after dana white chewed on him for dissing his the sponser. if there was a ass whoopping that night i think white won.
 
I'm glad Brock is in good health now.

But i never liked the guy and never will because of his attitude toward the other fighters and the sport.

The only fight i will watch of him in the future will be a video of him getting his azz kicked and that's the only interest i have in seeing him in the UFC.

Its an ACT!!!

Brock is just too fast and strong for Mir!!! He will destroy him again!!
