Buick Gatherings in Chicago Area?

Anyways, I'm new to the Chicago area (just moved to Carol Stream) am and wondering when, where and what kind of Buick gatherings are going on around here. I want to meet some of the local guys and see some of their cars. Let me know

Check out www.chicagolandbuick.org the local GSCA club, they have shows, races, meetings, and cruises listed on their site.

There might be another buick performance club but I don't know the name of it.

I just moved from West Chicago to Elburn still local 15-20 miles from Carol Stream. Join the Chicago Chapter GSCA you will meet some great people and they always have something going on every month. If you need to get in touch with me my cell # is 630-965-1987.

Thanks guys, I'm going to get myself signed up as soon as I can. I'm heading back to Peoria later today and returning on sunday afternoon. I checked out the site and there seems to be enough going on to keep my busy when I have extra time. I was just crusing around here last Friday and ran across a small car show going on right down the street( not Buick exclusive) and saw a kick ass mint condition white GSX. I didn't know the show was open to all, I could have easily just pulled up and got my car in there. Seems to be a lot more going on around here than at my home town, I'm beginning to like it already. I walked around the show with a couple of guys I just happened to meet when parking down the street, everyone around here seems to be nice people. Hope to see you guys around, I'll give you a call when I decide to visit one of the gatherings.

Sure did, it works pretty good too I can tell the difference even though I haven't totally floored it yet. Most everyone in the Buick community I have met are good people. I also know Surej(Drboost) who lives around here, I actually need to meet up with him when I get time to do so.
