O.K. guys, got a ? here. I'm currently changing my valve springs, timing chain, water pump, etc. I'm wondering whether or not to pull the intake and change my cam while I'm right there. The car is basicallly stock, but I'm starting to work on that as the cash flow allows. I was thinking about putting the 207 cam in. IS this a worth while thing to do.

Future improvements: THDP, Turbo either TA49 or TE44 not decided, 15 row intercooler, 65 mm throttle body and matching Modified Plen., cold air kit and more I'm sure mostly suspension.

With the correct cam YES. Just ask Lee Thompson and guys like that. You will gain over the complete power range with the correct camshaft. We are biased to our cam designs, so you will need to do a little homework. Just don't go too big. You need to consider what YOU want, torque, HP, or a bit of both.

Hope this helps,
John @ ESP
