Bought a cam sensor cap from caspers and installed it following their directions. The car cranks and puts like it wants to start but won't. Caspers instructions says that you should see the led blinking while you are cranking but when I look at mines it's not, any suggestions. Sorry about the typo in the title meant to say cam sensor ( damn iPhone has a mind of it's own )

Check to be sure the interrupter wheel is spinning - remove the cap and crank the engine, watching the interrupter rotating. Also, if the car has a lot of miles on it, the sensor drive shaft could be worn causing the interrupter to move up and down too much. The interrupter slot would drop out of the window when that happens.

Finally got it in flush but now I have another problem. No start!!! The car cranks and sounds like it wants to start, what I did notice is that when I'm cranking the car I don't see the led blinking on the cap, it is supposed to blink right? What can be the cause of this ? I followed the install instructions perfectly

See the post above. You need to make sure the cam drive is working properlly.

Ok going to check on that tomorrow afternoon. But suspose that it's is spinning what should be my next step ? If it's 180 deg out would it have light up upon initial instillation got to figure this out soon don't have much cruising time left here in Michigan
