The car came with an electronic Autometer fuel pressure guage mounted in the dash.My buddy Ed and I disconnected it, and placed a manual(non electronic) guage he had...for a more accurate reading at the fuel rail...My question is,can I hook up both guages? I would like to see the fuel pressure while driving, and also use the under hood (non electronic)one, to check fuel pressure. Thanks,Todd:biggrin:

I have an electric fuel pressure gauge(FAZE FZ3225 Fusion EL series ) mounted on the pillar post and I used a mechanical gauge mounted under the windshield wiper to test accuracy. they read the exact same pressure both at idle and under boost.

You can get a fuel rail tee from one of the many vendors so you can hook up both.

I have searched Full Throttle,GBody, and Summit..to try and find the tee fuel fitting.I even went to the local parts houses, and no luck. Can anyone direct me to a site that has the fitting, and possibly the thread size. Thanks,Todd

Hey Chuck...I wood have agreed with ur lil bro two years ago....My four year old had to teach me how to turn on the computer. Now,my Treo phone and laptop are my best friends...And my wife also...Send me a p.m. about ur experience with the powerlogger and LC-1 setup.. I am about to pull the trigger on ordering the items..Thanks,Todd

Well the powerlogger is hard to beat, let's face it, how are you to drive at wide open throttle, look at the boost gage, look at the scanmaster, steer the car?? Then remember everything that you seen when you get back to the pits... not to mention pushing the button on the scanmaster to see other information
The LC-1 which includes the sensor and the black do hickie that the sensor goes into(whidh is the actual LC-1 unit) and translates it to a signal that the X-16 (air fuel ratio gage), the powerlogger to read. If it wasn't for the fact that the sensor needs to warm up before starting the car cold, the calibration of the sensor to free air from time to time, (all of this is viewable by the X-16 gage), you wouldn't need the X-16 gage. Because you can see the a/f ratio on the powerlogger, and the scanmaster. Now that I mentioned the scanmaster you should get a chip with the powerlogger, that replaces the chip in the scanmaster, so that you can read a/f ratio from the LC-1. But of course you need the gage to see what's going on with the LC-1 not to mention the updates from full throttle as newer revisions are released. So in short, the powerlogger is a must have for tuning, exspecially if you do any drag racing, otherwise it's all just a guess.
