Valvoline VR1 is still an SN oil and therefor would be low on zinc/phosphorus. I add 1/2 bottle of Zddplus to my VR1 oil.

I see there are 2 ZDDP's...Plus, and Max. Max is less $ on Amazon. Both have free frt..Less than $10/bottle.
Which to use??

No problem I was thinking I read it wrong after I posted lol...
My thoughts are zddp absolutely necessary for ft motors but I will use oil that has it in it already, adding the additive seems arbitrary..how much? full bottle? half bottle? etc..

No idea. I'm sure everyone feels different. I use a half bottle of Rislone.
