Also...apparently something 15 grand and under gets you a questionable history clap trap that needs minimum 10k in just paint...and will still have patching and bondo, lord only knows what's hiding in the hard to reach areas and under the undercoating. Of course this is from a very small sampling of cars viewed online.
For general info...so I'm up to looking at 20k+ cars and it's getting out of feasibility territory for me I guess. Given the Canadian dollar and looking at U.S cars, for every $1000 bucks I can add $300 plus shipping and tax. So you can see there is a dilemma with a new T-type toy, it's almost like 10-15 for money pit and pay later anyway.
PSA people...and builders, quit using F**king massive amounts of undercoating. A proper enthusiast car like these NOT driven in the snow or even alot of rain should be just primed and painted with *maybe* a bit of good undercoating on just some seams after all this prep...not bathed in it ffs.
