I watched the cannon ball, and the cannonball run II last night, and for a cheesy 80' s movie, it was alright... Were there any GNs or TRs in any of them, i have netflix and its hard to rewind the movie (on the ps3 that is).

And is there a 3rd cannonball run by any chance???

I never recalled seeing one in the movie...

Then Again depends on when those movies were made.

I think Cannonball Run was 1981 which means it could have been shot in 1980

I think Cannonball Run #2 was 1983 or 84 which means it could have been shot prior years

Now you need to see The Gumball Rally...1976, and better then both Cannonball Run movies combined IMO.

Also see Speed Zone, it's a little newer than those others.

Only turbo car I recall in the those was the Starion that Jackie Chan was in.

X2. Much better car movie. Actually has some good driving at the end.

I did the Cannonball in '95, by then it was called One Lap Of America. There were 103 starters and like 70something finishers that year. A slew of GM's new car, the Impalla SS were entered:smile:. It was perfect with some mods for power and handling, comfy for the endless hours of driving, good sized fuel tanks, and fairly low profile from the LEO's. I actully won my class (Economy) and came in 36th overall in a turbo/intercooled 85 Shelby Charger:cool: I don't actually remember much about those 5 days from the sleep deprivation:redface: Maybe time to dig out that old VHS tape and watch it again...
