3 weeks ago went to the track and could hold boost for a good lauch but went to to track on the 17 of july and it would not hold any boost at all off the line but after moving it would hold 22 psi of boost can anyone help me

i have a similar problem, but it does it to me between cheyenne and ten buck 2.

i THINK my problem is in my chip. i've gone to a higher stall converter, basically it feels like i'm trying to spool a huge turbo. i'm guessing i'm just to rich down low.

What do you mean by moving it. Inching up to the second set of stage lights?? What type of converter and turbo?

getting it up

I have a problem building pressure off the line

Sometimes I can only achieved 5psi pounds with my trans brake on.

Other times I can build 15psi

I have a 2800 stall speed and a factory turbo

Thanks

Steve

How old is your converter? When you build 5 psi what is your stall speed? What is your stall speed for 15 psi? If your stall speed is not always the same and you have a lock-up converter it the lock-up unit in the converter may be bad. There are also other possiblities, but I give you this one from first hand experience.

what i meant by moving was driving. I have the stock converter and stock turbo.
Heres the problum went I try to stage the car at the lite to build up boost I cant build up any boost at all. After I leave the line and start to go down the track it build up to 22psi of boost.
Everything is still stock other then the injectors what ever happend it did it in a week!
