Cant get blower motor to work- Electronic climate control

Figured it out. Check the other thread for the details. The problem wound up having nothing to do with the electronic climate control setup. In fact it is something that is/may become an issue with either setup. Definately something that all of us need to know about, especially with the age of our cars.
 
I might add that I experienced this more than 10 years ago with my GN. That connector is the same on all 80's vintage Buicks. I soldered a new one on that I clipped off a junker. Funny thing, I must have owned about a half dozen Rivieras with the C68 CC and never experienced a failure at that 4 wire connector and the red wire on those cars for some reason. And this was the only time I ever had a problem with the GN.
 
Im sure all gbodys have this plug and probably most of the other GM cars around that time, Bbodys etc. I just went ahead and cut the plug out completely and soldered the lines. I figure that plug made it easier on the assembly line but really serves no purpose to us now.
