I am still new to the world of GN's and this may be a stupid question but I've owned the car for a couple of weeks and when I bought it, it would light up the tires at about 35 and absolutly pin you in the seat. Well I drove it to work today and while it still pulls hard taking off, it seems like it runs out of power once you get up in the RPM's. Now, today was hotter than its been by a few degrees since I've owned the car, could that be part of it?

Ambient air temp makes a huge diff one these cars...this could be what makes it feel alittle weaker on somedays...also coolant temp makes a diff, my car runs awesome a when it's warming up (a min. or 2 after startup it'll rip the tires off pretty much at will), after a while when the intercooler starts to heat soak and the plenum's hot, it slows down considerably.

I have a NOS setup on my truck i was thinking about plumbing into the intercooler on the GN to cool it what do you think?

Not something I'd try personally...Most people around here use alcohol to cool the intake charge and add Octane at the same time...You can find LOTS of info on that subject in Alcohol tech...Some people have had good luck with NOS though, do you mean spraying onto the intercooler to cool it or THROUGH the intercooler...if you want to spray NOS the prefered location is in the up-pipe into the throttle body, this is a very contravercial subject around here, but like I said some people have good luck with it, I'd rather just turn up the boost myself.

P.S. This should be in General Tech.
