well i just talked to the body shop. car is almost done. just needs the headliner put in and window tint redone. its getting there then its back to finding my damn oil leak and chasing this knock issue down before i go ape **** on it and drive it off a cliff.

Oil leak? Could it be the oil pan bolts needing a lil re-torque? After the cork Felpro pan gasket is installed its good to do a final torque. After a short time the crush is lost. What about your valve covers gaskets check them also towards the back against the firewall. Your motor is new so I wouldn't worry about the main seal Zimmerman built it. good luck.
