I don't see...

it, the decrease, your mph is picking up. You can't go by your e.t., too many variables. Is that the list of your mod's?

Looks like you need to lock your converter for a mph boost. At 5100 rpm you're at (or likely just past) your peak/ flat part of HP/ TQ curve. I suggest you just do this manually (ground F terminal of ALDL conn) thru a switch. Don't forget, of course, to unlock it after run, to restore normal operation...

60 foot times?

Ditto...
You are picking up nearly 20 mph which is about normal. My guess is your 60fts are 1.8-1.9ish?
With the converter locked you will see just about a 1-2 mph gain.

I think you believe it is laying over to "only" running 19 psi. This is not a good amount of boost to see a significant mph with a 44.

Brian last run was 22-23 psi and my MPH didn't change

I think Mike is comparing these slips with the ones about a month ago with an old school Kenne Bell converter with picked up 23mph unlocked with around 18-19lbs boost. Mike mentioned Westcoast converters told him not to lock the converter at the strip.

Times

Just curious as to what boost level are you leaving at? Did you notice more tire spin or wheel hop with boost increase? Locking your TC is a very good idea .Unless Your TC is it a non lock up? On your sig you state a 11.72 @ 114 mph then you say upgrades and new times to come...your down a whole second and 7mph what did you do different your upgrades have slowed you down, what variables changed, increased altitude, increased temp, humidity, tires, locked up TC, different TC you just had the West Coast TC put in and took out the NL KB TC, tranny slippin??? If you were running 11.70''s that's awesome your going backwards something changed there's an old addage "If it works don't fix it!" I'm sure you will figure it out and be back in the high 11's. Put your old school KB TC back in and run what you did a month ago..

Actually old kenne bell last month picked up 24-25.5 mph, bill from west coast said not to lock it up.

Kbtc

Wheelin what's in there now? The KB sounds past-tense..Good luck figuring out what's slowin you down.

Proof is in the puddin

Put the old school KB back in and get rid of the new WC. That KB maybe old but it out performed the new TC. My buddy still running an OLD Art Carr 9"non lockup TC that used to be in my car at least 8yrs old car runs like a BOOH.

west coast covertors,

ive been lockin my WCC at 100 MPH for 2 years now.. with no issues

Im sure your converter isnt why you are slowing down..
I mean c-mon how loose could a 2800 stall be anyhow...

Did you say you are getting some knock retard..

If you have a powerlogger, lets see a file or something..

the KB converter was 25 MPH faster???

something doesnt sound right about this..

Sounds like you have another problem..

what ELSE did you change besides your converter

New Mods

As Pacemakr was saying something else must be going on. You mention New Mods and times to come. In my 1st post I mentioned What all did you do mod wise what variables changed. The only thing you mention is a TC change.

Is your tranny toasted, valvetrain actin up?

For example:

28 inch Tires = 15% Converter Slip
27 inch Tires = 11% Converter Slip
26 inch Tires = 7% Converter Slip

If you have 27 or 28 inch tall tires you need to lock the converter
or it is off.

This is assuming there are no tuning or mechanical issues!

My Tires ar 26 tall

at 7% your converter is not the issue.
You should look else where!
