I havent driven the Buick in a while and I am trying to get it ready for the up coming cool down (hopefully). My battery has been going dead in a matter of days, it is spooling slowly, and wont boost over 10psi, it is also coming into knock early. I threw the turbolink on it and it is giving me all kinds of crazy codes such as VSS sensor, water injection, lean, rich conditions, low MAF, all sporadically and then they go away. I am thinking it could be the ECM, but just wondering if anyone has seen this kind of issue before. When I parked it, it ran well other than a nagging high BLM issue that I have been trying to chase down.
Thanks

The ECM area would be where I would start as well (chip & connections).
I would also check the grounds.

Tried swapping chips out, and there was no change. I also tried jacking with the wastegate to get more boost, it increased a little but Im almost out of room to bump it up on the rod. Will check grounds, its just weird that it developed out of the blue, but I guess stranger things have happened with this car!

Have heard that poor connections / corrosion can cause a problem like you describe.

yes grounds could cause this. mine has done this once before as well. Mine turned out to be the ECM.

Here's an easy first check:

How long has it been sitting?
Pump gas these days has a VERY short life span.
And STA-BIL doesn't make fuel last forever.

I'm always helping folks out with motorcycles and small engines who have the "well, I filled it up before I parked it...." reply when they ask me what's wrong with their motors.

It really hasnt been sitting that long (2-3 months), I would start it up and drive it probably once a month, and I just filled it up with gas about two weeks ago. I'll have to check the grounds, but its weird for it just to start like this out of nowhere.

poor running

Hi,
As the other people have suggested, try checking all the grounds, and put in fresh fuel. GNTTYPE.org lists a pretty good spring cleaning chart to help with this.

I'll check the grounds. Unfortunately I dont feel this is a simple tune up issue.

Well, I replaced the battery, checked the grounds at the back of the head, and now its running worse than ever. Last night I drove it over to a buddies house. It drove bad (not boosting, and getting knock)on the way over, but then as I go to leave it doesnt want to idle and is pumping out raw fuel like you read about! Died on me about 6 times. I cleared the ECM and it still did it but I was able to hold the idle up and get it moving. I drove it home holding the idle up at lights so it wouldnt die, but after a couple of miles it stopped and started running better (still not boosting, and getting into knock early) but not dieing at least! Should I just get an ECM, or could it be something else?
