Car starts but won't run, no codes

My car decided to start giving me problems again this afternoon. This time with no hints as to what direction to begin troubleshooting.

The car will start but dies almost immediately unless I play with the throttle. Direct Scan shows no codes, fuel pressure is rock solid, I have not done any mods or tuning in several months.

Sorry for the lack of information but the problem just cropped up at lunch and I'm still at work and haven't had a chance to really dig into anything yet.

Any ideas on where to start would be greatly appreciated.

So you have fuel, so the problem is spark. The car starts with a fixed amount of timing then the ignition module (with instructions from the ECM) takes over. I'd start with the Ig module.

What chip do you have might be a anti-theft mode.

Problem found

I found the problem, one of the intercooler hoses had blown of and the pipe was misaligned. After puting everything back where it belonged car fired up and ran nice and smooth.

i was going to say MAF, but it sounds like you found it-

if in the future the MAF takes a dump, unplug it, and take the uppipe off, if the car runs and idles fine, bingo bad maf
