hey guys- my powermaster crapped out on me the pump and the acumulator are shot- i can get a reman from for made by Cardone- for 350$- with my discount about 270$, has anyone used this? i dont want to do the vacume conversion, and buying the unit from postons is pricey- thanks guys!

i use one and both my dads GNs use the cardone units as well. I had an accumulator go out on me down at college so i took the unit off and got a new powermaster with my lifetime warranty and it seems fine. Both the others have been good to go.

thanks man- what did they come with- did they come with the master cylinder, acumulator, pump and motor, and resivoir?

It comes with everything u need, motor, mastercyliner, accumulator ball, grey switch etc.. all ya need to do is unbolt the old one and install the new one. And bleed the lines at the master cylinder when its all back together:)

Autozone part # 52-9700 Cardone powermaster unit for a 1986 Buick Electra Estate Wagon $171.97 with a $36 core charge- all you have to do is change the slanted resevoir- lot cheaper than the other unit and still comes with a lifetime warranty- HTH ! :D
