We tried switching ex housings because the 45a had lousy turbo response even with a pretty loose converter.

Same here , I wanted to change it to a .63 Garrett which I got from Husek . I sent it to Bison but it needed a lot of other work , so Dave suggested the T-netics and found me one slightly used for $800 . I was ready to pull the trigger on a new one and he saved me a bunch .

My mph seems to be stuck at 126-127 , even when I ran 11.0 it was at 125 . I don't know how much my car weighs , but I'm sure it's on the heavy side . I think I'll weigh it at Piedmont or RCG in May .
Def check weight, turn the boost up I won't tell you how much I have seen with the 64 billet or you can 60ft the car better to drop the et.

I should be able to pick up the 60' by at least .15 - .2 sec. just by solving the traction issue . I'm not sure on exact max boost I have run with the T-netics as I lost my logs from that night , I just remember seeing 29 -30 psi on boost gauge .

Traction and leaving on power are the things to focus on.your 60ft is soft lots of room for the et to drop.

I also have not hooked up my 2-step in the TR6 , looking forward to that too .

I think they both been over 80lb/min. but most races are won at the 60' mark, so the new tech wins

Well I was shocked on how much power the Turbonetics 6465 bb made over the TE45a .
706 hp 684 ftlb for the TE45a to 767hp 776 ftlb for the 6465 . There were no other motor or transmission changes from last year on the same dyno .

After the last dyno pull , Brian said we could get 800 hp , but I was happy with what I got . It's mainly a street car that goes to the track for fun now and then . I can turn up the wick if needed , I'm at 17* & 28psi on E85 so there's room to grow , but the stock crank may not like it .
