Going to install a MAF pipe and cone filter but need some room it looks like. Can i just remove the charcoal can on the front drivers side of engine? What does this do and if so do i just plug the rubber lines? Thank you

Don't plug it. That is your vent line to your gas tank.
  • Some folks leave it open-might or might not have fuel smell under the hood.
  • Many take a lawnmower fuel filter (see attached for example) and run a short rubber line from the vent into the fuel filter as a type of vent. That can be then vented to the wheel well area or spot of your choice.

  • Some relocate the Charcoal canister to another spot. Use the search on the forum with "charcoal canister relocation".
Good luck.

dont plug the line, thats the vent for the fuel tank
just move it to the frame by the PS box , take the screw out of the clamp that holds the steel vent line to the frame and push the line over , use the screw to attach the cannister to the frame

There is room for both , just move it over a little bit .
